Dates: June 12-13, 2025; 9 am-3 pm

Location: Scott Family Amazeum, 1009 Museum Way Bentonville, AR 72712

Fee: $160 per person 

The NWA STEAM Summer Institute is a two-day immersive professional development event for educators interested in integrating STEAM in their educational settings. The Amazeum team and NWAESC’s Science Specialist will facilitate rigorous learning experiences connected to the AR science standards with a focus on sensemaking, phenomena, and the engineering design process. 

The NWA STEAM Summer Institute will include:

  • Unique collaborative learning sessions with peers, Amazeum team, NWAESC’s Science Specialist
  • Take home materials and resources for the classroom
  • Roundtable discussions focused on accessible STEAM integration with literacy and science.
  • 12 hours of ADE credit
  • Additional support for schools that are interested in applying for AR STEM Model designation
  • Light breakfast, lunch and snacks provided each day

Financial aid available upon request. Recommended for 2 or more participants from the same institution to attend together.
